Best SEO TIPS FOR BLOGGER BLOG?
Hello. I am looking for some tips and guidelines to make my Blogger Blog successful however I cant come across a lot of blogs that help in this regard. The sites that often appear in google results after searching for SEO tips for blogger blog are themselves independent domains yet claim to improve the ranking of my Blog. Thats a sort of not-so-believable for me. Can someone tell me any Blogger Blog that contains help in this regard and is itself in Google or Yahoo’s good rankings?
Thanks

May 9th
Question by :
Whats the ideal way to build traffic to a on the web fabric and craft store?
My wife and I own a on the web fabric and craft store (Heart To Heart Fabrics). I have spent months building what I like to think is a great website. We get about 30 to 60 one-of-a-kind visitors a day. I have done the ideal I can to optimize our page speeds, titles, meta tags and descriptions, seo friendly urls, etc… added script to our website to auto import our site-map, image site-map, and froogle feed. There hasn’t been a time where I do not see at least two or three spiders crawling our site. We really have a great product and a desire to give people service that is just hard to find these days!
If you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. The website is http://HeartToHeartFabrics.com

WHAT IS THE BEST PERMALINK STRUCTURE FOR SEO?
May 3rd
Question by steve7376:
What is the Ideal Permalink Structure for SEO?
Please help me with a public study I am working on regarding SEO and permalink structure. Seeing how Amazon.com and eBay.com have shortened their permalinks, parsing out directories and subdirectories, what do you feel the best permalink structure is for modern day SEO?
Example:
http://www.google.com/Category/keyword.html
http://www.google.com/keyword.html
http://www.google.com/keyword/
http://www.google.com/keyword-category/
Etc
Thanks for your feedback!
NEW FACTS – WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST COMPUTER SKILLS TO LEARN FOR THE FUTURE? 10 POINTS?

Question by :
New facts – What would be the ideal personal skills to learn for the future? 10 points?
Hi ! I am a 27yr old MBA student with about 6-9 months of free time. So, I am thinking of learning a personal skill that I will enjoy and might be useful somewhere in future.
Even though I have no background in personal science, I have dabbled a bit in javascript and CSS in the past (very superficially, just enough to have fun with greasemonkey and make world wide web easier to use). I am a software junkie and like to try many different softwares even if they serve the same purpose, Hell I could probably even begin a review blog or something. And I surf the world wide web a lot for tweaks and hacks etc… to make life easier wherever possible.
With this background (probably no background by your standards !), what would you recommend that I should learn ? I am looking to learn something that would be simple to learn and fun. Preferably the skill you mention should not become redundant a few years down the line. It will be superior if I can use it somewhere in daily life so that I stay in practise while using it. I want to ideally learn something that would help me in my job as a manager in the future.
I have surfed to world wide web to narrow down to a few skills and have taken some views from people who know stuff. This is the list of things I have ended up with(even I can see that some of the recommendations are pretty stupid) :
1.Java or C#
2.Dreamweaver, Web design (MySQL and PHP)
3.Adobe
4.Animations
5.MS Access and MS Excel
6.COBOL
7.Brute force software (have no idea what that is !)
8.SEO
9.Linux (emphatically recommended)
10.Something with security, privacy, anti-hacking, something along those lines
11. Cloud computing, Software As A Service, Platform As A Service, Cloud computing
12.Surveillance, Understanding Facial Recognition
Can you please analyse some of these for me from the point of view of Relevance to my work as a manager, Longevity, Ease to learn and Fun.

Q&A: BEST WAY TO LEVERAGE A PURCHASED DOMAIN?
Apr 25th
Question by mti2935:
Best way to leverage a bought domain?
Our company offers a subscription-based service, and we have the opportunity to purchase the domain of a former competitor that has gone out of business. The domain has a Google page rank of 5, and an Alexa rank of ~375,000. The domain was registered in 1994, has about 50 other sites that link in to it, and it has fairly good natural placement in Google and other search engines for a number of relevant keywords. We are told that the site gets about 100 one-of-a-kind visitors/day with no advertising (but we have not confirmed this yet).
We do not want to run a whole new site and different brand of our service under this domain. But, if we decide to purchase the domain, what would be the ideal way to leverage the domain, from an SEO perspective, to drive traffic to our site? Simply do a 301 or 302 apache redirect of the entire domain to our site? A one-page site that simply states “xxxxx is now yyyyy, you will now be redirected…” with a javascript redirect and/or link to our site? Or, a small site with a few pages of information, and a ‘subscribe’ link that links to our site?
