SEO question – newbie website designer needs help!?
Alright: I am starting a website, or perhaps a series of websites.
Initially in my head I decided the websites would be structured as follows. There would be one main site, for example www.mynameis.com and then 50 or 100 other sites that would be www.mynameisjon.com, www.mynameisbill.com, etc. These sites would automatically forward the visitor to www.mynameis.com/jon or www.mynameis.com/bill.
I read something on an SEO website speaking about how google does not like masking or something else, and would remove sites that did this from their database.
Is what I am considering doing called masking or forwarding or something, and does google, and other search engines not like this? It’s not a problem only setting up the main page, I just thought the site would pull in a lot more people if I had the 50 or 100 other sites automatically linking to the main page.
Please help! I am new to all this
I do not know if www.mynameis.com is a site – I was just using that as an example, the idea I have fits into that structure.

My idea really has nothing to do with people’s names, it’s just the structure that would be similar – but I really appreciate your checking for me.

Hello. I am looking for some tips and guidelines to make my Blogger Blog successful however I cant come across a lot of blogs that help in this regard. The sites that often appear in google results after searching for SEO tips for blogger blog are themselves independent domains yet claim to improve the ranking of my Blog. Thats a sort of not-so-believable for me. Can someone tell me any Blogger Blog that contains help in this regard and is itself in Google or Yahoo’s good rankings?

Just to be clear this is not a Google bashing question. There is no doubt (in my mind) they are the ideal resource of information on the planet, at the same time where is our human threshold where we state …wait a minute that just ain’t right!
I have been involved with some really cool world wide web research for the last few months that focuses on Google. One of the current topics I have been investigating is how much trust the people have in search engines?
Specifically Google and what they do with users query data and integrity of information supplied in SERPS (search engine result pages).
