Logos are usually trademarked, and if you feature them on your site without permission you would be violating the trademark.

I concur many logos are tradmarks. This can be very serious. And if its not trademarked it is still bad buisness to “steal” anothers logo. Tradmarking and design takes money and time and it just wrong to take from anothers site. Now if they have information or photos you might like to use on your site ask them. Many times others will grant this as long as you give them a link or credit.
